On his way down a darkened street headed toward a late night stop at the office he came by what every person hates to see. those red flashing lights from a freight train passing by at the average speed of a guy on a leisure bicycle ride. slightly irritated he decided just to take a breath and relax. as each car passed by one rolled by painted bright red with “CANADA” written across it. jack said to himself, “if only i was on that train.” a reflection of the wonderment of where it might stop along the way, and where its final destination may be. which would lead him only to more adventures ahead.

this definitely helped pass the time as the ever so slow train made way down the tracks, yet it also made him reflect on so many things in life. to live a life of wonder, of hope for something better, a deep belief that the future could be whatever, wherever he wanted it to be. a boundless ocean of opportunity. and then the train was gone, the barriers went up and the line started moving again. moving forward passed the barriers still blinking a glint was in his eye as dreams in that moment were definitely remembered. “i have to get on that train,” jack said out loud to himself.

yet he wasn’t really thinking of it in terms of the movie “wanted” of literally running atop a train, but rather the freedom to live as free as he wanted to live, was created to live, and created to believe about what he found to be true, voicing such aspects of life without care of what anyone thought about it. driving down the darkened road continuing to ponder such things, he knew without doubt that one day he would be able to climb on top of that freight train to Canada.
